Proximity searching is one of several advanced criteria you use to find documents or extracts or facts – any profile really – with keywords or phrases that occur within proximity of each other. For example, “Lorem SENTENCE sadipscing” will find profiles where ‘Lorem’ and ‘sadipscing’ occur in the same sentence and rank them by how close together the words are.
And that’s great for finding hot documents.
But now, proximity searches also highlight the keywords or phrase you’re looking for when they’re in proximity. So, on line 4 in the screenshot, since “sadipscing” starts a new sentence and is not in the same sentence as Lorem on line 3, neither are highlighted.
Use proximity search to hone in on exactly what you need.
